Thinner-bodied optics may sit closer to the plate; verify clearance before final installation. Designed for OEM Glock (non-MOS) slides. Aftermarket slides or slides with non-standard dovetail geometry may require additional gunsmithing or modification. Some aftermarket slides use tapered dovetails (one side tighter than the other). If a licensed gunsmith must use more than a few sharp taps to seat or remove the unit, stop and verify slide geometry and installation direction — excessive force can damage the firearm or the adapter. Installation must be performed by a licensed gunsmith or qualified armorer. Improper installation can cause damage or unsafe operation.
